I’ve heard the expression drinking the Kool-Aid so many times and never knew what it meant. Interesting:
Drinking the Kool-Aid refers to the Jonestown mass suicide using Kool-Aid laced with cyanide.
The Kool-Aid article also answers another question: what does Kool-Aid aid with? Turns out it’s just an alternate spelling of -ade (think lemonade), which had to be changed because it doesn’t contain fruit juice.
